Robert (Bob) Bone
Executive Director
Bob is the joint owner and managing director of Destination Events Ltd. Founder of London’s New Year’s Day Parade and original creator of most of DEL's prestigious events. He now has 45 years experience in the industry.
Geraldine (Geri) Bone
Company Director
Geri is joint owner of DEL and a Director of the company. Geri plays an important role in ensuring that the quality of DEL's product is maintained and that customer satisfaction levels are kept very high.
Theresa Davis
Director of Administration
Theresa has been with the organisation now for almost 40 years. She is now the administration and finance director for the company and is also PA to Bob Bone.
Malcolm Chalk
Director of Operations
Malcolm is Operations Director UK. He has the responsibility of ensuring that all of DEL’s operations in the UK are planned and executed with imagination, precision and meticulous attention to detail.
Lizzie Bone
Director of Operations for Continental Europe
Lizzie is Operations Director for Continental Europe and has similar responsibilities to those of Malcolm in the UK. Additionally Lizzie runs our unique Tour Assistant scheme and takes care of relations with London’s Boroughs.
Garin Wilby
LNYDP Production Director
Garin started his working life as a Production Manager in theatre, touring shows around the UK & Europe. He began working in the events industry as a Production Technical Director, delivering high end private events globally and also for a number of years working as the Studio Manager for the Disney Channel in the UK. In 2002 he set up a company to provide creative technical production solutions to a diverse and eclectic mic of corporate, private and public events.
Benita (Ben) Wakefield
Production Director, Continental Europe
Benita has been working with us since 1996 on our European Events. She comes with an extensive background in theatre production management for National and West End Theatre companies and Live Event Management in UK and Europe.
Joe Bone
Director of Logistics and Participation
Joe is Director of Logistics for all of DEL's portfolio of events and activities. He is also responsible for LNYDP participation as well as operating the DEL merchandising for all events.
Gillian Dixon
Concert Manager
Originally trained as a Stage Designer, for many years Gillian worked at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden & English National Opera. Since then she has been a freelance arts administrator and events & concerts manager for many organisations. Gillian also has wide experience in venue management having also worked at Cadogan Hall, Barbican Centre, Bush Hall and many more.
Ela Gurmen
Italy Manager
Ela runs the Rome office and is the Italy Manager for DEL. Multi lingual Ela is responsible for all local arrangements in Italy and is DEL’s interface with the Rome Authorities. She is also responsible for the Italian components in our Italian events.
Pierre Duvernois
France Manager
Pierre is the manager of DEL in France and operates alongside his own event brand Equi Concept from Chantilly just outside Paris. Pierre has more than 40 years industry experiences.
Dan Kirkby
Director of Communications
Dan has been Director of Communications for DEL for almost 20 years and is credited with giving DEL’s events the worldwide renown and exposure they now enjoy.
Jack Ayers
Social Media Manager
Jack is the Social Media Manager for DEL. Since coming on board Jack has transformed DEL events' social media presence. Jack has built a great following on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other media.
Mike Loughton
Operations Assistant
Mike is our motoring guru and is primarily involved in securing all of our events’ motorised entries. He also works as an operations assistant for both Malcolm and Lizzie.
Tom Kirkby
Websites
Tom primarily works on keeping all of our websites good looking and up to date. He also assists with media relations, primarily for our LNYDP event.
