There are two aspects to what we do at Destination Events.

 

First and foremost, we are an event organiser, specialising in the production of huge, high-profile public spectaculars.

 

We are also a major tour operator, organising travel programmes for the many thousands of performers from all around the world who participate each year in our events.

 

As a consequence, we live and work in two distinct spheres - that of production and that of travel. 

 

Our production department has a wealth of experience at every level of the production process, from obtaining permissions from city councils across Europe to putting on the final high-tech touches just prior to showtime. Within that process we have ensured that we have developed great working relationships with a vast range of top suppliers. These include performance venues (be they small churches, grand concert halls, festival stages or entire sections of a major city), high-tech support companies for A/V and related requirements, security companies that ensure complete peace of mind, and of course the very best in technical and support staff. 

 

Clearly this represents just a fraction of the many tasks involved in any major production, but we hope that it indicates the depth and detail that we go to to ensure we provide the very best service to our clients.

Our travel department is also vastly experienced, with some 20+ years in the business of creating and implementing travel programmes for performance groups. Our success is largely based on our commitment to establishing and maintaining open and trusting relationships with the very best suppliers. These range from multinational corporations such as the major airlines to one-man bands such as our specialist sightseeing guides. The volume of our business has ensured that we remain important, and in some cases vital, to our suppliers, with the consequence that we continue to get the very best possible service from all of them, be they hotel chains, coach companies, catering establishments or sites of tourist and historic interest.
